TELEKI LIBRARY

     Teleki Bolyai Library from Tirgu Mures is one of the richest old book collections from Transylvania. It is a scientific, encyclopedic library, constituted in the Age of Enlighten by Teleki Samuel (1739-1822), chancellor of Transylvania (1791-1822), as valuable book fund, internationally recognized, with over 200.000 units. It contains books and old periodicals, commented editions of Greek and Latin classics, Romanian and Hungarian old books, manuscripts. These documents may be consulted in the lecture room only.
